Obama for President

I never expected Obama to run. Since his announcement on February 10th, I forced myself to give him a serious look so I would not feel that my support for Edwards was rooted in ignorance about Obama. However, the more I've looked the more I've found to reinforce my previous support for Obama back in 2004 and since in the Senate. Personally, I was not impressed by his 2004 convention speech. In fact, I was hesitant to support him because of all the hype but is that a reason to deny support? These two articles sum up some of the reasons I've been split between Edwards and Obama the last week or so:

Obama Got Start in Civil Rights Practice

In South L.A. rally, Obama vows sweeping changes

In the end, I think his candidacy could change the country forever.
