Who can beat John McCain?
Baring a dark horse like George Allen, the odds are that we will be running against either Guiliani or McCain. Guiliani is much more in line with the Bush administration and Republican party as a whole, but assuming McCain can pull it off, who can go up against him? Not Kerry, and not Clinton. Edwards or Clark? Maybe. Obama could too, but the odds are that he will not run. Bayh or some other Senator? I doubt it.
As for governors, here are the list of Democrats. Several surprises.
