Guiliani versus Edwards

I don't know about you, but it seems like a perfect match up to me. Finally, a candidate who can win more than 50% of the vote, for us. McCain will give him a run for his money, but I'm betting the Kerik promotion to Homeland Security is signaling a close relationship between Rove, Bush, and America's Mayor. If that's the case, I see Guiliani as their candidate in 2008. Especially if McCain keeps raising hell over in the Senate. They probably picture an easy Guiliani victory over Hillary four Novembers from now. An Edwards nomination would certainly throw a wrench in those plans. Guiliani is the definition of a corporate candidate and a neo-conservative hawk. Edwards is a devout Christian who is not afraid to talk about his faith and he's interested in standing up for working people, not corporations. The GOP might not have heard, but corporations and all those lobbyists the GOP loves so much in DC? Not so popular in rural America! Edwards is in. Rove, you can kiss your century good bye. You've got to make it through the decade first, ass hole. Nice try!

I would say that in rural America, trial lawyers are less popular than those corporations you speak of.
