WTF?
Yeah, I'm screwing around with the site. Exported and imported everything to a new version of Movable Type on a different hosting account. Might change the templates back to the old look. Not sure.
The bad part about importing a site? If you have more than one blog on your old version of MT, none of the numbers will match. I uploaded all the old individual archives, and the rebuilt version uses the title as the name of the files, so they don't conflict. Somehow it converted the old files to the new look and feel too, although I'm not sure why or how yet. By accident? Also had to do two replace alls to convert relative URLs as the directories are new.
Which meant deleting the site and reimporting from a new flat file. In all it was not too painful though, and I've got comments again.
