Taking a stand
For almost five years I went along to get along on WLS. I came back from Denver, and tried to do a different kind of radio. One that wasn't so dominated by politics. I wanted to get on the air, and have fun. I kept quite about a lot of things. Shame on me. No more. This election is too important to be quiet. The Republican Party has fallen into the hands of the neo-cons, and the country is going in the wrong direction. I never realized it more when I was at the DNC. The time for me to go along to get along was over. I couldn't keep quiet anymore. It was making me sick inside. So now come hell or high water, as the saying goes, I'm going to say what I think, and keep on saying what I think. George Bush is the worst President in my lifetime. GWB has got to go, and he can take Dick Cheney with him. I'm voting for Kerry, I have given Kerry money, and I'm proud of it. The same for Obama. It's so nice to walk in the sunshine at last!
