On a serious note

InstaPundit readers have been harassing S-Train, sending him hate mail, and calling his ISP - plus anyone else they can find - to get information on him. What did he do to deserve this? He posted a personal story about a pair of intruders, one with a gun, who S-Train shot to protect his family. Note to InstaAssholes (who are now questioning the story, after they promoted it to serve their own gun rights cause in the first place). You dumb fucks need to realize the line between virtual reality and reality. You just crossed it, harassing this guy at a difficult time, all for your own amusement. After seeing how Glenn Reynold's readers behave, I'm not suprised neither he nor George W Bush allow comments on their own sites. It wouldn't be pretty.

Mike,
out of 107 comments 16 were skeptical. Those 16 were made by 4 different people, one of whom is responsible for 8 of the comments. 1 of them commented once. 1 of them commented twice
About 4 comments were neutral. & the remaining one commented 4 times before he apologized & recanted.
The remaining 82 or so comments from 60 people were supportive.

I don't know how much static was sent through e-mail or land line.

But judging from the comments on S-Train's blog, it seems like 4 people's actions are causing you to dog out all of Instapundit's readers. I know I saw at least a couple who said they came from Instapundit who supported S-train. I didn't see any reference to where the 4 skeptics came from.

& there is always the possibility that the skeptics came from someone else's site. Hell, they could have been from my link for all I know. Ya see, judging a blogger by a small number of readers you think may have come from his site is probably not the most scientific method of assessing a blogger's character. & likewise judging a blogger by readers you have proof that came from his site is not any better.

But here is some wisdom for you that most of us pro-Right to Arms folks learned a long time ago - we cannot have our Right to Arms respected unless everyone has their Right to Arms respected. So at the very least i'd ask you reconsider your implications that we're only looking out for ourselves. & I would urge you to get involved in the struggle. Whether you change your mind about Instapundit or not, realize that the pro-Right to Arms folks are fighting the same people that want you defenseless along with us.
