« Schwarzenegger can't be President after all | Main | Senator Edwards fights to save overtime pay »

For the record

Since my second or third post I've been using a default post status of "Publish" not "Draft" and it's not because I type flawlessly. It's just that it makes posting more fun that way. I think the update flags that people use look tacky, too. If I make a change for more than a typo, I'll either modify the date to reflect the true time the post was finalized, or delete the part that I was just plain wrong about and post a retraction. That's only happened twice so far, in regards to a misleading press report on that cleric murdered in Najaf, and when I forget Arnold Schwarzenegger can't run for President because he wasn't born here. I also added some more details to a post about Ari Fleischer's resignation, and updated the date to reflect the extra information but did not delete the original content of the post. Anyone object? Let me know.
